This Week #8

This post has been sat in my drafts for a couple of days now, but I've just not quite had the energy to finish it. *Que ramble about tired I am.*

On Wednesday evening I met up with my best friend and we went for dinner in the sun. We were sat right next to the river and enjoyed wonderful food and plenty of wine. It was bliss.

This weekend was a busy one. I headed up to London, again ( I really just need to hurry up and move there) for a friends birthday celebrations. We started off with bottomless prosecco brunch, where the vegan alternative was actually really good, but more of that for another post. After very much overindulging, we wandered staggered to Soho for some karaoke, which was such a laugh.

On Sunday, despite feeling a bit worse for wear, I was straight back on it as I headed to Oxford for the first festival of the year: Common People. In hindsight, Pimms on a coach at 10am was probably not my classiest moment. Common People was so much fun, the weather was fantastic, the atmosphere was buzzing and the music was awesome (again, a more detailed post for another time.) Despite sporting a rather sexy sunburn the first festival of the year was a success and I can't wait for the next.

A weekend of boozing and not much sleep has caught up with me and this work week is becoming somewhat of a struggle. Roll on this weekend and a lie in.
