This Week #5

This week I have been a bit off the grid blogging-wise, and I must admit it's been quite nice to have a break from technology and social media.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 came out and I was unbelievably excited to see it, it's been my most anticipated film of 2017 and of course I had to whack out my incredibly geeky guardians Christmas jumper to mark the occasion. I have a review post in the works so I won't give too much of my thoughts away now, but I think it's safe to say I loved it.

At the weekend I journeyed down to Chichester for a reunion with my uni housemates, we hadn't all been in the same place since our graduation 3 years ago (I feel so old.) It was so lovely to properly catch up and reminisce of all the weird and wonderful things we got up to as students. We enjoyed a lovely weekend of food, drinks and much needed catch ups in the nicest caravan I ever did see.

It felt bittersweet to come back home, but hopefully we will not leave it as long until we all reunite again. Now it is time to get back to reality and sort out all those boring jobs that need to be done before going back tomorrow - yay adulthood.

First, I think it is time for a cup of tea and to find a new series to watch, I've just finished 13 Reasons Why and now looking for something new to watch, maybe something a bit less intense this time. Any recommendations?

  1. I think everyone needs a week away from the net from time to time! I spent my week on vacation and just had everything scheduled for the blogging side of life haha! The highlight of my week? Some time spent with my 'soul sister' who lives in Vegas and I see only once every few years. Plans for this week? Work, starting a new term in school, getting myself back on schedule!
