FOTD | Purple Witch

I've been trying to experiment a bit more with my make up recently, I used to be quite daring with my makeup choices but recently I've got caught in a rut. I recently got this bold makeup palette to use for a character look that's in the works (keep your eyes peeled.) I was drawn to this bold purple colour and decided it would make the most perfect autumnal look, it's the perfect witchy vibe for if you're starting to get excited for Halloween like I am.

L to R: Natural Collection Lipstick, Maybeline Colour Tattoo, Pizzaz Purple

(Sorry about the poor quality photo, I was fighting against the light)

All the products I used are high street products, so are available in Boots and Superdrug.

Products Used

Foundation: Rimmel Match Perfection - 200 Soft Beige
Powder: Loreal True Match - Golden Beige
Bronzer: Nars - Laguna
Eye shadows: MUA Poptastic Pallette - Pizzaz Purple
Maybeline Colour Tattoo 24 Hour - 70 Metallic Pomegranate
Mascara: Loreal Volume Million Lashes - Extra Black
Fake Eyelashes: Eyelure - 101
Liquid Eyeliner: Rimmel Exaggerate - 003 Glossy Black
Eyeliner: Loreal Color Riche - 101 Midnight Black
Eyebrows: Stila In the Light Palette - Sandstone
Lipstick: Natural Collection Moisture Shine - Fig Leaf
Makeup Brushes: Real Techniques - Blush Brush & Powder Brush

What I love about this look is you can be as bold with the colours as you like. If you're feeling brave you can use more purple and if you want it a bit more suitable for everyday wear you can blend in more of the maroon colour. I also used false eyelashes for this look, but the ones I used have been very well worn so weren't the most picture perfect. The eyelashes I opt for are Eyelure 101 or 107 and I always tend to trim them down a bit because they can be a tad too long.

This makeup look has definitely rekindled my love for experimentation so expect to see some more slightly more daring looks on here - especially as we get closer and closer to Halloween?

I'd love to see your versions of this makeup look too.
