Bath Christmas Market.

This weekend has been full of festivity, I have my gingerbread candle lit, my bedding is officially festive and yesterday I ventured to Bath to visit the famous Christmas Market.

This has been on my to do list for absolutely ages and when the opportunity arose to spend the day there I (literally) jumped at the chance.

Bath is an exceptionally beautiful city, with brilliant shops and fantastic scenery even without the festive touch it would have been the perfect day out.

The Christmas market involved numerous huts placed around the city selling niche products from wooden ties to welsh slate, where local businesses can sell their wares. This made it the perfect place to get quirky and unique Christmas presents. Of course there was plenty of food and drink on offer as well, from roasted chestnuts, to waffles and mulled wine stalls, the perfect fuel for a busy day of shopping.

Unfortunately for us the weather wasn't the most pleasant but with the festive cheer in the air it definitely did not matter. I would thoroughly recommend a trip if you're in the midst of your Christmas shopping or even if you are just looking to inject a bit of Christmas cheer into your life, it was a brilliant day out that all the family can enjoy.

Have you been to Bath Christmas Market? Did you enjoy it?
