The BAFTA's 2014.

Award season is in full swing and I love it! Its my favourite non weather based season! And the BAFTA's is one of the best! For one reason & one reason only! Its oh so British -- I mean with Stephen  Fry as host what could be more so! As a bit of a self confessed movie geek it only seemed right that I share my thoughts of the night with you.

As far as the results go I'm pretty pleased with it, I always enjoy awards show more when my favourite wins. The results I'm most happy with are: Frozen winning best animation, 12 Years A Slave won Best Film, Chiwetel Ejiofor won Best Actor & Gravity pretty much cleared up the whole floor! Also can we just quickly talk about how much of a babe Dame Helen Mirran is?! I mean seriously, she looks absolutely amazing, she's a terrific actress & she gives one hell of a speech! If I can be like her at that age then I will be very happy indeed.

Also for the sole reason of this picture, Emma Thompson is my new favourite person!

I am however gutted that Sandra Bullock & Lupita Nyong'o didn't win their respective awards! As much as I think Jennifer Lawrence & Cate Blanchett are both fabulous! I think these two both gave the most incredible performances in their films & just really deserved it! Oh well maybe they will shine at the Oscars.

Now for the bit you're all expecting from a blogger…the fashion!

Now I'm only going to talk about the outfits I loved! Because I don't want to be mean about anyones outfit even if I'm not a fan because a) the person wearing it doesn't care what I think b) its nicer to be positive than negative!

Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie is just perfection in this suit from Saint Laurent, if anyone can take a suit and make it super feminine & ooze sex appeal then its Ms Jolie! I love this look so much, hands down one of my favourites of the night! I love the 'female suit' look and definitely hope to try this out for myself soon -- on a much lower budget obviously!

Amy Adams

Amy Adams looked stunning & classy in this simple but beautiful black dress from ex-spice girl herself Victoria Beckham! I think she looks so elegant in this dress, her makeup, hair and accessories although downplayed all go hand in hand to create such a simple chic look. I love it!

Lupita Nyong'o

Lupita Nyong'o looks absolutely stunning in this gorgeous green Christian Dior dress, the colour compliments her skin tone wonderfully & that teamed with gorgeous accessories creates such a beautiful look, one of my firm favourites of the night.

Imogen Poots

Imogen Poots is rocking this red Givenchy number, I literally can't express how much love I have for this outfit. The colour is perfect & the cut out style is adventurous yet not slutty in the slightest, and actually teamed with a high neck makes this outfit so classy. She looks absolutely incredible and I love her toned down hair & makeup to keep sole attention on the dress which compliments her skin tone beautifully.

It is so hard for me to choose a favourite from this looks but I think it has to be a tie between Angelina Jolie & Imogen Poots! I love both of this outfits so much, both ladies look incredible!

There we have my thoughts on the BAFTA's 2014
