Baking | Disney Edition.

For my little sisters 9th birthday I told her I would make her a birthday cake of her choice (risky decision!) She chose Rapunzel's tower from the Disney film 'Tangled' I'm assuming you all know the one.

Despite having alot less time to make it than I initially thought (curse you work!) I think it turned out pretty well apart from a few minor structural errors. The cake is just your standard sponge recipe & the tower is made out of rice krispy cake/bars, then coated in icing a plenty! In terms of my standards it could be a lot better but under the circumstances in which it was made I think its not bad & my sister liked it so that's all that counts really!

I also made some Disney Princess cupcakes which were a tiny bit of a disaster since I made them an hour before I had to go to work. The cakes are meant to be representative of seven Disney films some well known, others not so. If you can guess which shoddy cakes represent which then you win all my respect as it could be hard to tell... I showed them to my granny & she thought one of them was a bed spread! Awkward!

You may be thinking "if these cakes aren't great then why are you showing us?" Well hypothetical person it is because they are meant to be shared...and failing that they may make a few of you laugh!

Putting your Disney knowledge to the test guys! Which cake is for which film/princess??
