MET GALA 2013.

You know the drill, every time there's a celebrity event involving pretty dresses the bloggers come out to play, so I'm going to follow suit and post my favourite looks from the night. Enjoy.

I love Jennifer Morrison's dress I think it fits perfectly with the Punk theme - especially a fan of her spider accessories. She also happens to be my hair crush of the night, A braid Mohawk. Genius! Good work J-Mo.

Cara Delevingne looks smoking as always, love the dress although the plunging neckline really doesn't leave all that much to the imagination. The stud effect on the top half gives the outfit a whole other dimension and makes a simple dress stand out. Her smokey eyes and killer eyebrows go perfectly with the theme of the night.

Anne Hathaway. First things first - hello blonde! She can pull of any hair style or hair colour, very much unlike myself. boo you Anne! I've seen mixed reviews about her dress but I'm actually a massive fan, obviously its not your average nip out for some milk dress, but it suits the theme and she looks pretty damn fine, although maybe not so much side boob next time.

For me personally I think Taylor Swift killed this look, who knew punk could suit her so well. I love everything about it, the hair, the make up, the dress - I love the embellishments at the top.

So these were my top picks from the 2013 Met Gala. I must say my inner 15 year old emo/punk loved seeing the celebrities working the rock look.
What dresses stood out for you?
What did you think of the Punk theme?

  1. My favourties were Katy Perry, Ashley Olsen (Didn't seem very punk to me but I loved the dress under the stupid transparent thing) Alexa Chung and Paloma Faith. I think the majority didn't go well with the theme so that was annoying!
