February/March Favourites.

As with my Empties post, I've joined my February & March favourites together. So I hope you enjoy seeing what I've enjoyed using the past two months.

Hair dye has been one of my best friends over the past month in my dreaded journey to becoming a blonde again, I have used alot of hair colour products recently but unfortunately I threw them all away before I had the chance to snap a pic, so I'm just going to speak about the Garnier Nutrisse Creme Hair Dye brand as a whole. Garnier is without a doubt my favourite hair dye brand, their products are always true to colour, what you see is what you get, in my experience at least. This brand is also one of the only hair dye brands that doesn't leave my hair feeling like straw & that is partly down to the UH-mazing conditioner that they provide. It smells amazing, more importantly it leaves my hair smelling amazing - there is nothing worse than that lingering hair dye smell. Euch. And probably most important of all it leaves my hair in really good condition, I've had countless people tell me that my hair looks really healthy after I've used it. I wish they sold  full size versions of the conditioner as it is incredible.

I have loved this John Frieda Go Blonder lightening spray since I first discovered it way back when. Throughout all my hair phases, every time I've been back blonde it has been a hair staple of mine. This product is perfect for giving hair a lift in colour, and giving it a brighter colour without having to dye it. It is also perfect for gradually lightening roots in between dyes. This product once again gets a thumbs up from me.

The Aussie Dual personality Heat Protection leave in spray is one I've had in my collection for a while but over the past couple of months I've really rekindled my love with. I'm normally quite bad at remembering to use a heat protection spray, but with the recent added strain on my hair I've tried to use it more & more as it really does make all the difference. I'd say that this is one of the better heat protection sprays I've tried, the main thing I really love about this spray is that it doesn't leave my hair dry/crackly or sticky once its dry which I have found with previous protection products I've tried. I've never really used many Aussie products but after my success with this I would definitely consider trying some more of their products.

The next two products are both skin care products from the Garnier range they are the Garnier Fresh Essentials Cleansing lotion and the Garnier Fresh Essentials Refreshing Toner, these were a new purchase this month. There wasn't really any logic to why i purchased them, my other cleanser & toner had run out and I didn't really want to be without some so I picked these up in Sainsburys during my weekly food shop (good story Charlotte.) The thing that attracted me to them was the smell, of course. The grape extract in  these products makes them smell delicious. They seem to be working pretty well so far, they leave my face feeling very fresh and smooth and I have noticed an improvement in the condition of my skin which I'm obviously pretty pleased with. For products that I just grabbed off the shelf I'm actually really impressed. Good work Garnier you've done me proud once again.

Essie Mint Candy Apple is one of my favourite pastel nail colours ever. The Essie brand for me is top notch, the colours available are gorgeous and the quality is also really good, they last so long on the nails without chipping. I'm very impatient when it comes to painting my nails, I hate waiting for them to dry, I found this nail polish to dry very quickly reducing the risk of smudging. The product itself definitely goes a long way, you really don't need to use lots of layers to get an opaque look. The colour of this product really is beautiful, it is the best pastel green/mint colour I've found, it looks especially great with a tan...which I don't have because the weather is pretty crappy. I would definitely recommend this as a perfect colour for spring/summer especially if you are going away to somewhere hot & sunny because i can guarantee it will look very pretty.

So these are all the products I've been especially loving the past two months.

Have you tried any of these products? What did you think?
