Benefit Review | Porefessional & Facial Emulsion

I have been looking for a decent Primer and Moisturiser for a while and even though I had read mixed reviews about these products, I had been wanting to give them a try for a while and as I had received a boots voucher for Christmas I thought I would finally bite the bullet and buy the set.

The two items are the 'Porefessional' primer which is said to 'quickly minimize the appearance of pores' & the  'Triple performing facial emulsion' which says it 'hydrates, protects & comforts the skin with an oil-free, lightweight formula. Contains exclusive ultra moisturizing tri - radiance complex to help capture & maintain water on the skin's surface.'

After giving both products a try I must say I was pleasantly surprised, as a sufferer of obvious pores, particularly on my nose and around it, I was pleased to find that the product had managed to reduce the appearance of them significantly. It is a good base for my make up and leaves it looking even and doesn't dry out my skin. The only thing I would say about this product is that i haven't found it to be particularly long lasting, I feel that it fades quite quickly which is annoying, but seeing as the product can be used both under and over make up it is easily remedied with a quick touch up.

I really like the facial emulsion, it leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and leaves it feeling hydrated. It has SPF 15 in it as well which I like as it not only leaves my skin feeling good it is also helping to protect it. The only negative that I have with this product is that it is too small, it is long lasting and a little definitely goes along way but for the price it is there could be more product on offer.

Overall I really like these two products I feel that they definitely do what they say on the tin - or bottle in this case. I would definitely recommend them. Unfortunately I do not think that they will be a regular repurchase for me as they are quite pricey and unless I use my boots points or have a voucher I don't think my student budget can stretch that far, which is a shame as I really enjoyed them. Fingers crossed they don't run out for a long time to come.

Have you tried these products? What do you think of them? Do you have any cheap alternatives you could recommend?
